At Trailhead Lodging, you get to stay in a cozy room. Plus, we can point you in the right direction to help you explore nearby trails, lakes, mountains and even glaciers, where you can take part in all kinds of fun adventures. Just ask any of us, and we will be happy to help.
Please note that Trailhead Lodging is a non-hosted (no front desk) accommodation. Even though we do not have a front desk, our office is located a half block down the street at 319 Third Avenue (three doors down on the same side of the street towards the bay). My name is Rissie. I was born right here in Seward, Alaska, just a block up the hill from the Lodge. For me, Seward has always been a vortex that I call home. I grew up in Palmer, just an hour north of Anchorage, traveled the world and then found myself back in Seward. I have three amazing children: Selma, Gaia, and Rider, who have grown-up in the hospitality business and have grown to love sharing the wonders of Seward with visitors.
The beauty and community of Seward are amazing. Majestic sea and staggering mountains occupied by a small community- Seward is an ideal place to live, work and play.
