Ranger Lead Exit Glacier Walk : Trailhead Lodging

Ranger Lead Exit Glacier Walk

Ranger Lead Exit Glacier Walk

Kenai Fjords, Kenai Peninsula, Seward Area

If you’re looking for an educational tour through some of our most awe-inspiring environments, just ask a ranger!

As an 8.2-mile round trip hike, Harding Icefield Trail is a strenuous trail at the best times of the year. You will begin at the valley floor, then make your way through forests of alder and cottonwood to eventually find yourself at an awe-inspiring view of the icefield: a horizon made of ice and snow. Plan for this trail to take between 6 and 8 hours to complete.

Disclaimer: As with all activities in and around Seward, Trailhead Lodging accepts no responsibility or liability for injuries that may be incurred while on this hike.
